Reverse switch wiring

Hello everyone

I've finally got a d2 and starting to uncover things which need sorting on it since purchase about 3 weeks ago.

One thing is the reverse lights don't work, I've been underneath and found the reverse light switch just hanging from the gearbox but nothing for me to connect it into, have checked wiring diagram in haynes but still can't find connection. Any ideas what might of been done?

That's because Haynes is full of sh*t, a too expensive unusefull and human unfriendly book, i bought it myself some years ago hoping that it will help me...in vain... the worst investement i've ever made... see C0167 from RAVE :

Managed to find the switch on the gearbox but it's where to plug it into which is confusing me
