Reverse light issue

Hi all,
I am having an issue with my reverse lights in that they don't work when I first start the car but eventually kick in after about 15-20mins driving. It's as if they need to warm up. Could it be the reverse switch that needs replacing?

It could be the reverse switch, if it's a manual.

Sorry, yes its a manual TD4

It could be loose. Try winding it in a turn and just check the connector isn't loose either

I have just noticed that if windscreen wipers are on and I put car in reverse, if lights don't come on neither does rear wiper. Have ordered new switch which should be here tomorrow.
