Hi are there any electrical wizards out there.
I have 2008 Range Rover sports SP HSE TDV6 A. Can I retro fit a reverse camera assist that till operate on the Denso screen.

I believe you need a cleave box of tricks, which switches the camera into the screen image feed, when reverse is selected.
I'd like to do the same mod to my FL2, which uses a similar screen system, and I definitely need an extra box of tricks, but at about £300, I'm reluctant.

Hi thanks for answer. Well no way paying £300. However gleamed from various places you could run power feed for camera from revers lights, so camera powers up when reverse is selected. Comparability with Denso another matter

I took a feed off the reverse light wiring to trigger a relay to power the camera and screen on my P38. If you look on JagForum someone did a How To.

I wouldn't trust a camera. Too many things to go wrong. Over shoulder, or open door.
Coincidentally, went to the big smoke today (has a supermarket and a handful of shops) and had to park where there is a wall just low enough for the rear end slope , of Golden Girl, to fit over. So door open and off I go. Park her up, get out and see a guy in a quite new Jag nodding and smiling at me. "Some bit of parking" says he. I look again and think "hmmm yeah, not bad". So I smile back and make nicities. " I'd have knocked that wall down if it was me", was his final comment as I walked off. :)
There is no way I could've parked , in that bay, without Mk1 eyeballs. A camera, unless under the slope would not have shown what I could see.
So Mk1 eyeballs all the way.
