Hi. Learnt to drive on my Dads farm 14 yrs old SWB series one. Went to several Festivals early 1970’s in the old Landy. Then owned early long- stick Range Rover. (1994 paid £500 ! ) got it off someone’s drive semi- abandoned. Then Disco, LWB 2A . Now live Portugal, and helping my friend with his early Freelander TD4. I’ve looked at threads but get confused.
His Freelander has the fuel filter and fuel pump under the bonnet. My three questions:
Do we have to remove fuse box and ECU box to get at the fuel filter ? There was talk of a Phillips screw somewhere to help remove it. , can’t see it.
What the heck is that small, kind of inline filter thing floating around at the rear left of engine bay? Seems to be connected to pipe goes down to small junction on the engine block.
Is there any other filter in the tank?
