Hi All, hope you can help. Had a 4.0 ES disco 2 back in 2001 which we ran for 6 years before getting involved with Range Rovers, other than it's great thirst we loved it, especially the ride and with the ACE pack it sort of handled. I now feel the need for another Disco in my life and have seen a nice V8 ES (2001) today but had been converted to springs. Should a converted car be given a wide berth? Can it be converted back, and is it worth it? I assume the ACE handling system will not work on a spring converted vehicle.
The vehicle seemed tidy enough with no corrosion evident though the engine wasn't as silky smooth as I remember as there was a vibration at about 1500 revs which soon disappeared at higher revs.
Your thoughts would be welcome. Regards Ian

Yes it can, is it worth doing i think it is.
Its a great package when its all working nice, but how much will it cost and can you justify it.
I think a pump alone is around £300. You need to do some sums
Check chassis rails around fuel tank on the inside
