had a look about theres loads of threads just relating to standard dampers

so are they worth the extra over a standard replacement damper?
Will a defender one fit a disco with a relocation kit

Cheers in advance

well worth it.

on road and off road steering improved (it makes an effort to return to centre!)

better mounting (ring type instead of pin type)

longer travel, so can be mounted closer to drop arm (which means it has less moving around to do when the axle articulates)

can be adjusted to make your car track really well (spring can be preloaded either way to get rid of pulling to the gutter etc due to large tyres)

cheers.

Glyn Lewis mate.

I had previously made my chassis bracket and modified the arm bracket to make a relocation kit, but I was feeling rich at the time so sold my home made bits with the old damper. Glyn does a disco chassis bracket and a defender type arm bracket as one item on eBay, designed for conversion.

Works well :)
