Thanks for the feedback to my original post. (Landcruiser seemed most
popular suggestion)
I am considering importing a large 4x4 from australia (RHD and US
proportions)
Has anyone done this before?

Why would you want to import from Australia? There are dozens of UK
companies that export all types of jap 4x4 from Japan as they generally have
an easier life than in OZ.


 
I appreciate the reply. But I was thinking more of the bigger australian
suv's, I believe Holden make one.

Aah - I see what you are after.

I think you'll find there are no Australian SUV's, just jap ones with
different badges. The current one is the Holden Jackaroo which is a rebadged
version of the recently discontinued Isuzu Trooper - it's exactly the same
size as the ones we get though.
