I've got a vacuum leak from the brake booster connector on the intake manifold:

(I've put another video of the leak at the end)

Question:

I'm debating whether to replace the whole assembly or just the red bit.

Is it easy to get just the red bit out? It's cheaper to just buy this LR052965 for $25:

I've heard that to replace the whole assembly you need to push a rod down the throttle body, which seems more intensive?

And the whole thing LZN100220L costs around $55 here in Australia:

Use hight temp gas sealer, its a bit specialist so expensive, I've seen it used on high pressure steam pipes, but now its available in small DIY tubes just right for the hot V8 engine bay 😊
But then you could try normal vehicle gasket sealer or the ‘superglue type’ based sealer of various specifications to suit the job, again In small tubes.
