Slowly working through restoring a 2a and this was this mornings job as I'm on holiday for a week
Take 1 rusted rad panel
And some repair sections of ebay
Then get busy with the angle grinder and some 1mm cutting disks and chop away all the rot
Weld the bottom strips on and make a template from card for the holes that are left, I've used .6mm welding wire as I can turn the power down a bit and not blow holes in everything
Offer it up and trim a bit if needs be
Weld it in and do the same for the other hole then clear the welds up and hey presto...
And the final job..
Proper job... Taking it for sand blasting once I've done the bulkhead, unfortunately I've run out of gas for the welder then they'll both can get galvanised
