red button on seatbelt

My seatbelt is jammed , its my own fault for messing with the settings when I didnt really understand what they do! , any help would be appreciated , this is drivers seatbelt, retractable. There is a dial on it which says -15 , 0 , +15 there is also a small red screw which can be adjusted which is attached to the dial and rotates with it. I know you would assume that I should just undo what I did , however I have tried turning the dial back and it hasnt made any difference.

Sounds like somebody's fitted some kind of universal belts, with some kind of compensation for fitting angle. Once you've put the adjustment back to where it was, try gently pulling the belt out a bit, in a bit, out a bit, in a bit, see if works.

Unbolt it and change its angle till you get it unlocked then reset to where it was.

Done , did exactly as suggested , unbolted it , tilted it to various angles until it unlocked (tricky) unreeled it and bolted it back on , thanks!
