Reasons to buy a Landy..

A letter in the Graunaid Money section last weekend:

"...my VW Golf wing mirror was destroyed by a motorist who did not stop. My garage gave me a £338 estimate.... ...I am totally dependent on my car... and am now running out of food and other necessities".

My Land Rover wing mirror was destroyed because I stupidly clipped a branch on the way home and I can get a replacement from Paddocks for under a fiver. Or should I splash out 15 quid for Defender style ones? And I can fit them with a spanner instead of needing a garage.

my mirror was clipped by a council worker in a council van doing non council work.. he coughed up a cheque fer a new mirror.

i knocked the mirror back into place and got ****ed on his money

get the defender style ones with new hinges for 30 quid for the pair! i advise tightening the screws underneath the mirror head, both of mine were way loose and the mirror would move whilst driving.

the tesco van driver ripped his van mirror (including indicator) right off against mt deepender mirror. I just folded mine back into place - he got the sack.

Bloody shame .... guy was only doing his job.

A mate has a Merc E Class AMG Estate, someone took his Mirror off while parked.
Electric, Heated, Autodimming, Painted, Indicators in the housing, auto folding.

How much?
