95N 300Tdi - only had a few months and sorted out some of he larger problems. Started on fautly rear wiper, removed panel to find wires disconnected.

I presume someone has replaced the motor as the wiring loom has been hacked and wire colours dont match - help!

From the motor i have a thicker white and and a thicker yellow, neither connected. Also from the motor, there is a brown/yellow attached to a female socket. The femal socket also has a brown/green and a green/orange which have been cut.

There is no male socket left, but from the loom i have a black which is grounded to the door and then a brown/green and a green/orange. These have been cut as well.

So i have ground. Think the solution is to connect loom brown/green and a green/orange to the white and yellow on motor, but which way around? Forget the connectors, i assume the motor has different wiring but should be ok.

I read the thread on the driver door must be shut - great, only on a LR! wonder if this is what caught out the last person, so they gave up!

Appreciate if someone can connect me!

Thanks

Can't help with wire colours off the top of my head, but....

....^^that^^ is a hang over from LR using the RR loom. On the RRC the rear wiper was disabled when the top tailgate was open so that you didn't damage the wiper arm.

To operate with the door open try pushing the interior light switch in the door pillar :)
