Freelander 1 rear window

hi all the wife came home from work and her back window had been broken I wonder if any body has had this window just breaking as I have heard of them doing it or is it somebody doing it on purpose ,but I located one at Landranger services in Longton Stoke-on-Trent and I even had the cables and motor , I will always recommend Landranger services nothing is too much bother for them.

Make sure there is no crease/dent behind rear wheel carrier where someone has driven into it!

It's been said on ere before peeps have had trouble where as above someone has driven into the wheel on the door and damage the door. Also at speed the rear window has shattered if opened a bit (not fully). Also when the heater element has been used to defrost the rear window and the sudden heat in one area cracks/shatters it when it's cold/frozen.

no damage at all on the back door it just stood all day at work with its back towards a main road with a fence and high hedge row in between the wife has been having trouble with the back window but I was going to fix it as it was the regulator ,I suppose it could have been a brick or something off the main road ,any way today I will be putting the "new" window and regulator in .

well I put the "new" one in today complete with the "new" regulator and it works a lot better than the old one .
