Classic Rear window locks

I wanted to know how to remove the window locks to the rear sliding windows
Also the car has a r 380 gearbox in it with two electrical sensor one is for the reversing light switch but what is the other one for many thanks

The other switch on the gearbox is the neutral sensor switch for the selection of low range in a p38

Rear sliding windows, I guess we are talking two door been getting on for 20 years since had mine so no chance of me remembering !
