Rear upper boot lid adjustment

Hi all,I'm new to this forum & I need some advice. How do you adjust the upper boot lid as it has dropped slightly & catching the lower boot section.many thanks.

What happened to Wammers' crystal ball? Is it tied up in probate?

It's just like most other vehicles with a tailgate.
The hinge bolt holes are slotted, which allows for a few mm of adjustment.
If the tailgate has dropped, then you need to release the bolts which are in line with the direction you want to move the tailgate, which should be the bolts which hold the hinge onto the tailgate itself.
From memory they'll be 10mm headed bolts, and will probably be covered by a rubber boot.

Edited for accuracy.
It appears so, although it's only held on be a few bolts.
The hinge bolts are then accessed from above.
