Hi,
I'm new to the rangie and having read the standard tyre pressures was suprised to see that the rears are 38psi!!
The thing that troubles me is the rear tyre wear I have, the centre portion of the rear tyres are worn to the wear guides! Whilst the remainder of the tyres surfaces have up to 5mm of tread! This indicates over-inflation, doesn't it??
It could be that the previous owner had over-inflated the rears causing uneven tread wear, however could it be down to the pressures?
There is also a noticeable difference in the bulge of the tyre, at the point of contact with the ground, compared to the front tyre.
It just seems that 38psi for the rears is too high......any advice or thoughts, please.
