Rear shackle

I have a Landrover tow bar with detachable hitch on my P38 ,I would like to put a shackle on the back as a recovery point does anyone know of a fitting that can be put in the receiver to take a shackle or do people just use the holes that the bolt goes through ?.

The tow ball works well as a recovery point.

I wouldn't worry if I was you, all recovery companies have all the right gear.

Just don't use it as a 'snatch' / kinetic recovery else you'll pull the lot off!!

Don't like the look of those kinetic ropes ,there are some on utube they always seem to end up throu someone's back window .
