Rear screen washer broke!

This problem is at the bottom of my list of things to fix but my Haynes manual doesn't really say anything about the washers!

For some reason my rear windscreen washer has stopped working (200TDi 11 CSW). Last job I did was swap the actuator on my handbrake drum but can't see how that would affect it?!

Anyone know what it could be?

Yes, I have topped up the resovoir!

Does the pump run?

If not then think electrical - connection or switch or motor failure - my first port of call would be connector off pump, multimeter to terminals on plug and get someone to push the button to run the pump - do you get 12v? If yes take the pump out or leave in situ and run 12v straight to it, does it run now? No, buy new pump. Yes, think loose connection or fautly switch letting 12v through but not sufficient current.

If the pump runs think blockage or leak in the line.
