As well as the fuel lift pump I've removed the rubber prop shaft coupler and rear prop shaft. This completely failed and while I was limping it back home the shaft twisted wearing away the flanges on the rear of the shaft.
As per photos:
I've bought a secondhand prop shaft to get it on the road before I upgrade to HD parts however the centre bush rubber is worn. I've got the replacement part with the coupler kit but can't see an obvious way to get the old one out as it's pretty stuck in there. Before I go at it with brute force I was wondering if anyone has any advice for changing this part?
Thanks from a newbie!
