rear light problem

hi im new to land rovers and this may sound stupid i have a 94 disco 300 tdi when i switch my lights on the rear lights show on the bumper are they ment to show on the back where the reverse lights and fog lights are sorry if it sounds stupid some people say they are some say just on the bumper

just on the bumper mate..

MIne, a '96/'97 Disco, show on the bumper and on the rear panel ..

If you want them to work on the panel I believe (could be wrong) the wiring should be all there, just needs connecting up and bulbs fitting!!
