Rear hub outer seal question

Had a leaky rear hub (drum brakes) and want to check that the outer seal and seal spacer are fitted the right way round.

I've attached a photo showing both.

It's difficult to tell from workshop manual. Cheers

Yes, spring to the oil side. I personally do not fit that seal but allow the bit of oil that comes from the stub axle to find its way into the hub relying on the seal at the back of the hub only. This is how series and early 90/110 are set up.

Thanks for all your help. The outer seal was wrong way round. Fitted new seal correct way and all looks good
