I've been trying to identify a rear end knock on my 110 that occurs when mounting/dismounting kerbs for example. Everything would appear nice and tight apart from the lower shock mount. There is about a 1/2 gap between the mount and the bush. Is this correct as I would have thought the bush should t least be touching the mount. I will get some pictures later today to show you all.
This seems to be the only possibility to me but I may be wrong.

I had this identical issue with the "knocking". After both tightening the nuts and washers on the damper and replacing the bushes the improvement was minor.
The solution? As recommended by some suppliers of aftermarket suspension, I undid the damper bottom screws, removed the lower bushes, pulled the damper up and out of the way and knocked the upper and lower bush retaining cups off.
I then reinstalled the dampers with the bottom bushes making full contact with the axle brackets where the cups were. The dampers are now secured firmly in place at their bottom ends as opposed to just floating around.

Do you have any pictures please?
