Rear diff/Haldex

Hi im looking for some advice?
Ive had the rear diff done on my landrover freelander about a month ago and everything has been good for about a month but now when reversing and turning my wheel it is juddering and ive been told its the Haldex.
Should this have been done at the same time and is it a big job now?
