What are you smoking??? Traffic wardens are real low life scum(the sort of
people who will loot your house in a black-out).

They are sort of idiots who cant get any other job. The only reason they are
traffic wardens, because the JobCentre threatened to stop posting the weekly
dole money to them.

What's the matter Tony - did your last gay lover run off with a Traffic
Warden or did one of them catch you masturbating on a double yellow
band?

Never mind eh? You can't help your little inadequacies - you're just a
bit of a loser. Now of course, you are going to lose your life as well.

They are out to issue as many tickets as possible, the scooter riding ones
are the worst out of the lot. They hide around the corner and wait for you
to walk-away from your vehicle, then pop out quickly to write a ticket then
go back to hide again. And some of them even follow people and as soon as
your parked, they ride their scooter around the corner hide and wait for you
to walk away.

That is the actions of a real low-life

Has one of these "low-lifes" ever given you a ticket when you've parked
legally?

People who think that laws should be rigorously enforced just because
'they're the law' are among the worst kinds of low-lives. Often we
break bogus laws for reasons that any decent person could understand,
but low-life jobsworths will ignore in order to give them an excuse to
ruin someone's day for no reason other than their own vindictiveness
or greed. Justice is far more important than law, but in the UK we
have a lot of laws and very little justice.

Also, I went to visit my parents a while back. The only empty parking
space left in their road was clearly marked with white lines showing
it as a valid parking space... but also had older double yellow lines
along the kerb. Was I legally parked or not?

Yup agree with that.

I actually managed to get my own back one day on a Traffic Warden who was
failing to show common sense.

I was working as a agency driver for a parcel delivery company. The regular
driver had damaged himself and couldn't drive but could carry small parcels
and packages.

We had a delivery to make at an office in Buckingham Palace Road, I stopped
on double yellow lines outside the front door and behind a special
designated parking space for a diplomat of some description. The other guy
took the parcel in. Needless to say the usual TW appeared from out of a puff
of smoke and uttered those immortal words, " You can't park here".

I explained why I was there and that the other chap was inside delivering
the parcel. Needless to say the usual response came back. I then pointed out
that I was causing no more obstruction than the car that was legally parked
in the bay. That cut no ice either ("he's got permission to be there") so
she made me move on. So I did, up to the mini-roundabout by Buck House
turned round and drove back past her,.at 5mph.

it is just possible that an anti-terrorist measure was being enforced when
you were moved on ...
