When did you last have the a/c recharged?

Its the first thing to do, because you wont get any reliable fault
codes to appear without the system being fully charged.

Recharged the weekend before I went to Spain....so its not that.

The pump maybe getting hot. Do you know where it is? It maybe as simply as
a wire breaking down or the connection of that wire to the pump. The pump
has a solenoid clutch which may be your problem. Watch it activate when
someone turns the switch on.

Hi Gaz,
It could well be electrical..we had the relays looked at when somebody was
switching the air con on and off.. but the relay seems to work okay.

I think you may be on the right lines..thanks for the advice ....I'll try to
find the connections around the pump and solenoid area.
