None, tighten large nut snug only while rotating the rotor, back off
slightly and install the retainer cap and cotter key at the nearest
available hole. You should have no noticeable play in the wheel when
done. I assume that you just did a repack, if not....keep the nut a
little looser.

don't use anything bigger than a 12" handle on your ratchet, so you do't
overtorque the bearings. overtorque in this case is much worse than
undertorque. the "no noticable play" is a good rule of thumb.

this only works for cone type bearings. roller bearings that have to be
pressed in the hubs are critical with their torwue specs. ie> 93 camry
frt axle nut => 217ft lb. if you don't, you'll wreck them as soon as you
set them on the ground.
