I have a 56 plate t4 freelander and it shakes like hell at 70+mph, the gear stick and steering wheel physically shake about. As well as this it make a terrible sound.

It has been into the garage (twice) and lately had a whole new prop shaft. Thought this had cured the problem but it returned a couple of weeks later. There is also now "no roll" in the car. I mean when i reverse of the drive it will not roll down the road (when it previously did).

Is there a problem with the diff?? What could this be??

Help

Cheers

Get the VCU checked.
Check if the VCU has lost it's damper.
Check tyre sizes front and rear. Actual sizes not makers size.
Have yu had new tyres fitted recently? To the back or front?

See FAQ section.

Drive it as little as possible unless yu have deep pockets.
