have any of you noticed how much the peat fields in nothern scotland are being used up at an alarming rate? only 10 years ago there was enought peat to last until the year 4000, now after intensive peat cutting it will only last until 3990. As we are all land rover users and land rover has the word land in it we should all get together and stop this blatant rape of our countryside. we can all join up if we log-on to www.stoppeatcutting.cotton.com.org.co.uk. maybe if we get enought people to sign up we can ensure that there will alway be peat for our childrens children to run over.
i have always tried to recycle my peat by putting peat in the garden for my potatos and the like. you just can't beat a chip made from a spud grown in peat. i think before we send our troops over to afghaniraq we should be sending them to scotland to ensure the continued supply of peat.

I'm afraid I'm a bit to blame. You see I've just managed to convert my Landie from deesil to solid fuel and found that peat was the best fuel to use. I am currently getting aproximately 50 miles to the acre.

To defend myself I would like to say that Scotland has always been too high anyway and peat extraction is the best way to bring the country to the same level as the rest of the EEC.
 
so you have a master plan to drag scotland down to the same level as the EEC? thats terrible! why not fill in the rest of the uk and get that up beside the jockanese?

Here's a thought for you.

If we dig up the peat bogs of Scotland are we doing the them a favor? by removing Chernobyl contaminated peat and letting Grunt burn it or spreading it around our allotments.

Shouldn't we speed up cutting and have it exported as as the Irish are doing.
Its one way of clearing up fall out and making a profit.
Maybe we can sell it back to the Russians

Was thinking of covertin ma rocket ta peat, think it would take up most that jockyland place ta get home to Zog. . . :D
 
What with all the peat export and north sea gas up in Bonny Scotland we had better be carefull because im sure that Gorge w mother ****er I am a Bible basher stupid yank Bush will be sending over Condaleesa Ive only got this job because Gorge w etc needs the vote of the minority Rice.
