rangerover problem

i have put 7.5 x 16 michelin tyres on my l reg 200tdi rangerover.
i have lifted it with lifting rings by 50mm.
the tyres are on rangerover alloys.
when turning the steering wheel hard round the wheels start to judder and work against each other.
if you leave it on hard lock and look from the front, the wheels are not in the same line as each other.
it is also the same in reverse and starts to wind up.
please can anyone help??????
