range rover tv

hi all, what will happen to the tvs in the range rover when they switch over from analogue

The analogue ones wont work?

is there anything i can buy to convert it

You have two three options to choose from, which none are cheap:

1. Replace the existing BMW TV tuner module with a later, hybrid/digital unit (i.e. the one from the later BMW's) This is your best and most cost effective option. You just need a tuner with the later part number.

2. Pay a company to do the change for you

3. Fit an after market 12V freeview box and connect it to the AUX input on your existing TV module. (causes problems because of aerials etc...)

Option 3 should cost you about £350.00 if you get it pro fitted with new digital aerials.

but that would me you would have one of those awful remotes to change the channel, the BMW tuner upgrade is the much cleaner upgrade and will allow you to use all the same control to change channels etc...
