Range Rover help?

Hey im new to this forum , and new to the big mans cars cant wait tho.

Im after getting a 2.6 or 2.5 diesel range rover not sure the shape but around 1999 - 2000 reg. The one with the square back and lights.

What are they like running costs , any better than the petrol versions?

Also what shall i look out for when buying a used range rover.

Any help is thankfull..

air suspension is problamatic all models
diesal is ok but petrol is best imo......... get one with lpg conversion..

I have a petrol LPG 4L SE 1996 WITH 64000 miles thing is its a jap import so its low mileage and has not had the winter salts so is in mint condition ps there is a sales person on ebay that sells low mileage ones may be worth alook. I think hes called wickerd something ps ive have mine for two years now thinking of selling for £5250 JUST HAD MOT and only done 64000 miles
