Range rover evouque 2021 ambient lighting issue

I am after installing ambient lighting by a guy which was a rangw rover evouque specific kit...car had no ambient prior to that...he wired it with the side mirror button since i am having issue and he also struggling to find out why these issues arising its a 2021 plug in hybrid
I am not getting error on dash
Gear not in park
Gear faulty
Emergency breaking and lane assistant not available
Stability control not available
And the car wont move...will start and everything but wont go drive or reverse
Anyone exp ever this and what could be thr cause...he has rechecked the wire and all
Rand rover dont want to even fix it as its not their problem like wth..

Either he's messed with something he shouldn't, or you have other fault reasons. You need to get proper diagnostics done.

Why do you need ambient lighting in a car ?? You might get better luck on Ejoke Forum or similar ?

Never mess with modern RR electrics it often leads to grief. They are dodgy enough as standard.

Get him to disconnect the bodge and see if fixes the other issues. Unlikely to find someone else who has bodged it in the same way, unless of course it's an official bodge as recommended by LR bodge department which I doubt even they would do

He'll have used a kit for an earlier model that is messing with the FlexRay network, earlier versions used MS-CAN. Remove it, carry out a DTC read & clear (with a reader that will work across all systems) and all will be well.
