Hi - am a new member - just heard about site today. Hopefully someone can help! I have a 2005 discovery tdv6 auto. Everytime it rains the footwells, particularly on passenger side are taking in rain. Anyone come across this?

I had one that used to do it but the guy I sold it too (I made him aware of this before he bought it) told me he went round the windscreen rubber with silicone and it cured it!!

Good luck!

If it's not coming through the sunroof it's coming through the windscreen. Silicone is prob. the answer, but I seem to have cured my sunroof seals with a coat of Vaseline (fingers etc crossed). Now the screen's leaking instead though. If you're really lucky the alpine windows will leak too. Tip - don't stand on the roof - makes it worse.

If none of above help then check the following:-
1. If it has a heated front screen then check the sealing around the rubber seal as it goes through the gutter, it should be near the wing drains. Mine leaked from there it was a total bugger to track down. Silicone seal around the seal and it should stop.
What happens is the water runs down onto the wiring loom and then seeps through the rubber seal through the bulkhead and down behind the carpet.
