Looked at radio removal tools which I can't seem to get over here, tried all sorts (including a search) but unable to shift the radio. Looks like I need it out for access to the heater "O" rings

I found 1 old one I had lying around from a Kenwood unit. Slipped it in one side, pulled like mad, then did the same on the other side. Thought my fingers were gonna bleed, but it came out.
 
You should only need to push something hard and thin in the both slots at the same time and pull it out. You can't do one side at once, both at the same time. But AFAIK it can be anything, like as defender300td1 says, even feeler guages...
 
If you get a good tight fitting one no need to bend tray tabs mAkes it so much easyer next time you want it out ;) I know you like a tight one
 
To be honest, hardly anybody noticed. Only the ornithologists, as they had the binoculars out already.
 
when i did the o rings i removed the panel beside my left leg(when sitting in the seat) there is another panel inside it get a bog hole saw cut a hole in the inner panel all you need then is a very long phillips not difficult whole job took about 45min. when you put on the outer panel the hole is covered

Ooow ill remember that,where did you drill the hole Exactly:nopics:
 
im not 100 percent sure to be honest i removed most of the inside panel as it has no use whatsoever i had been told to drill a large hole roughly centre ways in the panel. if i was doing another i would remove most of the panel again my outer panel never slipped or moved and there is no indication whatsoever to the panel removed behind it its so easy to do the o rings that was
