Radio only stays on for 1 minute

Hi I’m new to the group.
I’ve owned a p38 before and thought I’d go for an upgrade with what I have now. I currently have a 2003 l322 3.0 diesel vogue, in a dark blue with dark blue leather.
I bought this with a few issues
Christmas tree lights on dash which was the steering sensor.
The radio didn’t work at all and I’ve replaced the bm54 unit,amp and sat nav unit.
It’s alive but the only issue I have is the sound only last for 1 minute then it turns off. I can turn the radio off and the on again which will give me sound but only for 1 minute again.
What could this be as I’m scratching my head to the unknown.

Could be worth popping over to the range rover section for a better answer. For my ten pence worth. Sounds like the radio unit has an issue inside.
