Radio interference

Hi I have poor radio reception on my 2010 defender puma has anyone got a fix for this ? Maybe signal amplifier?

Could be a problem with the aerial cable? My radio hasn't worked for nearly a year, after I took the battery off and replaced it it won't accept the radio code. The numbers appear on the screen ok, but nothing happens when pressing the final button to input the code. Must get round to investigating one day

Use a multimeter to check continuity from aerial plug pin to main part of aerial and from outer of plug to bodywork. There needs to be a good connection between the aerial outer and the bodywork.
