Radiator issues?

Changed my 300tdi radiator yesterday, Got all the air out the system (i think). However the radiator only seems to be getting hot in one corner.
Water is returning and heaters are getting hot.

Just taken it out on a long drive, the temp gauge is sitting normal but it smells abit hot and getting quite warm inside the cab

My question is, am i right in saying the entire rad should be getting warm? & is a warm cab just something of a landrover?

Did you use a hose and really clean out the engine. Some people can get trigger happy with RTV. It then blocks passageways.
Water pump not working or clogged maybe?
