Hi everyone,

Does anyone know if the stick-out air con grille frame will fit a 2006 non-air-con 90 TD5 Defender without major modifications?

Also any thoughts on Britpart parts vs genuine Land Rover.

The Britpart grille frame is £140 vs £205 (ouch) for the LR part....from LR Direct (part no. ASJ710060);

Any insights appreciated.

Thanks aaronmorris;

Grille ordered yesterday - now at the painters for a couple of coats of Fuji White!

Hi fellas,

Just to close the topic and in case anyone else is looking to change; I've just had the air-con grille frame back from the painters;

It fits fine (to my non-air-con 90); a bit of persuasion required but nothing serious!!

Next job is to fit the new KBX grille :)

Cheers.

Terry where did you get your daytime running lights from.? Quite fancy installing some of them. :)

Landyfox,

Got them from e-Bay; Seller is Flatdoguk1.

Good service.

I paid £199, which included the LED DRLs, wiring and bumper (which is from Mantec).

I've had the bumper pimped up (painted in Java Black to match the KBX grill and light surrounds).

The price included free postage.

The DRLs are awesome; brighter than the headlights :D

Cheers....Terry

Hi, can you tell me the details of what you had to do to get the grille to fit without having air con. Thanks.
