I have 2008 110 when pulling away I’m getting a slight rubbing/ grinding noise that is only in 1st gear. Jack up all wheels no problem, clutch pressed down no sound
Has anyone had this and is it an easy fix lol

First things first, check the oil level in the gearbox and transfer box.

And check handbrake drum isn't over adjusted too .

Had this on my recently purchased TD5 90, strange ringing noise in first gear, and someone had over tightened the handbrake adjuster.

Changed oil no bits at all in old oil.
Handbrake is good not tight
I’m now thinking it could be clutch it sounds like a buckled wheel on a pushbike lol and stops as soon as I go over 9 mph in first and second gear, the clutch is rattling when out of gear so might change this first

How many miles has it done? I have found that TD5 clutch can get tired at around 100,000
