Im having a little problem with my front prop shaft on a 1995 130 Defender.
I took the shaft apart by un-bolting the front section from the diff but leaving the rear section still attached to the transfer case. I couldnt undo those bolts as I couldnt get the rattle gun to them. Anyway, the problem is that the marking that I placed on the prop shaft to align them have rubbed off..... So now im stuck
I cant figure out how the shafts fit back into each other as the shaft does not seem to be able to slip over the male section of the shaft. Am I doing something wrong or do I require more force. THe splines seem to be in perfect condition.
How do I figure out how the 2 shafts go together and balance. Should I just take the shaft off and take it to a "shop" and get them to balance it or what??
