hi everyone, ive just got my first freelander, 1999 di, cracking motor, ive read as much as i can on ird, cvu etc and just wanted to know if there should be any play where prop joins ird unit, im asking as ive got a funny sound from beneath, sounds like a wheel bearing but ive checked play in wheel but cant feel any, ive fitted new cvu support bearings, checked diff supports and they are ok, noise is more over 50mph and is present under load and load off, the only thing i can find is a slight play where prop joins ird and also found cvu damper rubber is slightly coming off its main bit, as anyone any ideas on what could be wrong, thanks for reading, cheers lee
