Programing 2 button Fob

Morning all, May have been covered before if so apologies, do you good people know of anyone in the East Riding of good old Yorkshire that can program a new 2 button key fob for my Disco and not charge more than the cars worth to do it, I have a new fob acquired from a Landrover independent spares supplier but they dont have Testbook.:doh:

Morning Graham,

Just have a look in your owners manual, you may be able to do it manually using the override code. my Dad had the same issue with his 300 tdi and if my mind serves correctly he managed to do it. as an example your code might be 1324. nor sure if he used ignition or door lock to reprogramme, the code works on 1 left turn 3 right 2 left and so on. returning to the centre each time etc.

Doesn't work on a replacement fob. IT has to be reprogrammed via testbook.

Thanks for the help, I was sure it would have to be diagnostics, rave manual says it can only be done that way, and I have tryed everything else.
Will give one of these guys a call tomorow.
