Probs with Td4 engine...

Hi from northern germany!
At first: My schoolenglish ist bad, I'm sorry! I hope, you'll understand my text!
I own an Freelander l Td4 from 2002.
Till monday this week, the engine runs calm without problems.
Suddenly the engine runs rough and bucks, the control lamps light's up, a lot of black exhaust clouds came out of the pipes and the engine stops.
After a short while, I can start the engine again, it runs super a few Kilometer and calm without any problems. But then it happens again and again...I'm so so sad, can't believe it!
It's the BMW Diesel engine.
It runs all the years without any problems, I' m so shocked!
Has anyone an idea, what has happened?

Welcome.
It could be a few things. The first thing to check is the fuel rail pressure sensor. The plug is known to suffer corrosion, causing odd running issues.
