Problems with air suspension

TD5 Land rover Discovery. Have had four compressors in last two years which have been fitted by main dealer, all have failed, have been told air filter needs changing. Would this cause problems on all four compressers? If not, what would you think probable cause? Is compressor protected by fuses?

Because of the pumps location a lot of muck got thrown on to the air filter, so LR have now fitted a 'splash guard' as u don't say the year of your D2 it may or may not have this modification fitted. Like all air filters they need tobe changed. All electrical circuits are protected with fuses

the air filter for this is behind the rear light cluster... sounds like main stealer bull.

hi take the air springs off and chuuk em best i did tows great no mor problems
