Problem with Radio unit

Hi
For some reason the screen on head unit on my radio on the Freelander 2 2012 has gone blank. Sat nav works fine, can hear everything and all the buttons work but the small green screen is blank apart from being backlight,

Any ideas?

I've heard of the LCD driver failing on them.
The only cure is a replacement unit, which sometimes needs programming, and sometimes not.
