WE HAVE 99/00 model 1.8 freelander. on the way back from a fishing trip on sunday the car drove a dream just as it always does, until i was coming down a hill the car conked out and refused to start again.
luckily this was at the bottom of my street and got a tow back.
I originally thought it was another faulty fuel pump as the car is winding over and trying its hardest to start so we knew it wasnt fuel that it needed.
after testing the pump we found this to be working and fuel is getting to the engine but then it stops. the spark plugs are bone try so its not getting past the injectors.
just wondering if anyone has any ideas and what we can have a look at next to try and get this working again we supposed to be going on holiday in a weeks time but if dont get sorted we not be going which = 3 disappointed kids.
