I'm looking for advice about what is happening to my Land Rover Discovery 4 SDV6 2013 model. I have pressure in the coolant system. The water pump was replaced recently and we've checked the thermostat and housing. All seems normal. The expansion tank coolant test for exhaust gases was positive so seems I need to replace the head gasket. My question is this - Is there any danger of doing damage if I continue to drive the vehicle for a few weeks until I can get the head gasket changed? Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

I'd not do that if i was you but if you need it bad be gentle with the throttle, watch carefully the coolant temp and if it starts rising stop right away.... and check the coolant level after each drive cos it can blow a hose if you force it
