press indicators down engine stops ?

Help pless i have a 2000 wreg freelander diesel
when you indicator left or right the engine will stop.switch off and on again it will start if you can help it wood be great thanks jim
 
Best guess is a poor earth connection in the indicator circuit causing a volt drop in the engine management system power supply as the faulty indicator circuit tries to draw current from the easiest source.

Thar's life Jim . . .but not as we know it. . . . . .er shorry bout thet, REET could be a corroded fuse holder, but me finks best bet is in yer steering Coulomb ,both indicators un ignition on / orft is in their so's thats best place to look. . . .:)
