Is it worth spending the extra on the premium diesel in the garage for my TD4 or stick to the el cheapo. Thoughts please. Ta
Save your money and go for the cheep stuff
Nodge68 Can you explain to me how using bog standard diesel will damage an injector to such an extent it would need to be replaced?
The premium diesel at the the pumps is bog standard diesel with so called miracle additives.
If you went to the refinery, do you think ther is a state of the art plant where the make the premium diesel, and an old shed round the back where they make the cheaper fuel.
If I had injector trouble I would check my fuel is not contaminated, and make sure my engine is burning the fuel correctly/ efficiently.
ming where on earth have you been ,/QUOTE] Wizzin round yeranus . . . .
Nah, blocks the injectorsSnake oil . . .
Fuel additive should deal.I still blame the ultra low sulphur diesel for injector problems. Interestingly reports are now starting to appear on the internet with this conclusion from independent bodies. But it's still highly debatable.
