Greetings! I've just made an account to post this issue below. I have a 2005 TD4 BMW engine Freelander 1 (facelift).

My current problem is a bit odd so I wanted to ask on this forums. Basically since having my freelander serviced, I am experiencing a huge power loss and the check engine light comes on sometimes. I cannot confirm if this issue is directly tied to the service.

This issue happens after around 10 minutes of driving and I do not know if it's temperature affected. Restarting the engine doesn't work but the car will function normally after a period of not being used. I am also noticing some stuttering when this issue happens and the car slightly rocks back and forth. Another symptom is that the engine sound changes when this is happening. My mechanic found the P1E30 fault code and another one which mentions the foot pedal.

I've also had a huge problem in the past where my car was stuttering heavily and doing banging sounds. This was due to the MAF sensor if I remember well. This time it's not as heavy but it might be connected.

Any ideas?
Thanks in advance.

have you tried unplugging the MAF sensor, also check all vaccum hoses leading to the EGR activation solenoid, and report back to the forum.

Sounds like the low pressure fuel pump could be low on output.
You need to get the live data for the low pressure supply, which needs to remain above 350kpa at full power output.

That was my mechanic's first guess. I'll see if he can get the live data during a drive. Thanks!

All looks well. I removed the MAF sensor and got the same problem after 10 minutes of driving. I'm waiting for my mechanic to do more work on it at this point.
